The itinerary: We visit Heian Shrine and enjoy the quiet, tranquil atmosphere of one Japanese garden. The tour guide will give you basic ideas to better understand the gardener's professional stories. Then we move to Konkai-komyoji Temple on foot to meet our gardeners. We learn about the temple and see the exclusive areas, usually closed to all tourists, yet open to just us on this day. Then we are split into three groups to try our hands at making a miniature garden. The gardeners advise us while we work so that we can have the benefit of his expertise.
