5日の夕刻、南禅寺を訪問しました。
In the evening on 5th, I dropped by Nanzen-ji Temple.
「絶景かな、絶景かな」という歌舞伎のセリフが有名な高さ22mもある三門が出迎えてくれます。
It is famous by Kabuki, Japanese traditional theater art, that the view from the 22-meter-high gate is amazing.
奥へ進んでいくと、京都市内へ琵琶湖から水を引くための水路閣があり、今やどことなくレトロな雰囲気が味を出しています。
Going inside, you will see waterway bridge that is for water from Lake Biwa to Kyoto City. Now it turned to be good looking after some decades.
コロナウイルスの心配な世の中ですが、それぞれの方が紅葉を楽しみ、思い思いの時間を過ごしていらっしゃいました。
Still we cannot forget about the terrible corona virus, but everyone seemed to have their lovable time and autumn.
